With a passion for style and design, I continue to explore many endeavors within the fashion industry. I am a strong leader, self-motivated, and thrive in a team environment.
Currently, I am the Womens Designer on the Bodywear/Activewear team at United Legwear & Apparel Co. We design for brands such as Puma, Gold's Gym, and Bread & Boxers, as well as private label. Through extensive trend and market research, our team brings an inspiring freshness to our buyers each season.
My love for design began at the age of 14. I acquired a sewing machine, thread, and fabric swatches, and, through trial-and-error, learned to sew. I began making clothing and jewelry for myself, and was well-known around school for my handmade designs. Fashion design school was the only way for me to go, as I had my heart set on influencing the world as a designer.
I acquired my B.S. in Apparel Design at the University of Minnesota. Shortly after, I knew I was ready for bigger and better opportunities, so I packed my bags and moved to New York City.
Within months I had completed several freelance design jobs, made several commissioned garments, and landed a job as the Womens Designer on the Bodywear team at United Legwear & Apparel Co.
Through my love of design and styling in Womenswear, I will continue my journey of influencing women to dress in a way that exudes confidence, power, and self-expression.
