Conceptualization, creating technical drawings and specifications, communication with suppliers and correcting samples. Designed 2 new EVA/Rubber outsoles for the Fitness category which have been put into production.
China development trip to advance products from pullover to approved samples. Gained an understanding of production methods, cost justification, and supplier dynamics.
Collect trend analysis and colour forecasting information, and create animated presentations (AfterEffects) to illustrate the trends and application to the new collection.
Power website update for S/S 2014. Upload the new collection images and text. Involves entering basic html and has included some graphic generation. Most content is provided.

R&D for new UI implementation of a flight deck system with the Human Factors Engineering team. Researching existing and future trends of apps, physical and digital human-computer interactions. Determined appropriate use for a glass cockpit. Worked with pilots to evaluate pilot workload and complete task breakdowns.
Designed and implemented the UI and GUI for a hypothetical SmartDeck iteration. Provided graphic support for rapid prototyping. The end result of this work was demonstrated at NBAA 2012 in Orlando.

Worked with the Soft Good Accessories Team to create cases for all BlackBerry lines and PlayBook. Prepared tech packs, including rendered materials, BOM, and critical dimensions. Implemented in-house prototyping for conceptual work. Managed pre-production sample review process, providing feedback to suppliers on colours, materials, functionality, construction, and form. Aided in exhibition and media preparation including a "Made for BlackBerry PlayBook" display at TIFF 2011.
