With my son turning six, he requested a superhero and villain birthday theme. (Mostly villain.) So I wrote and illustrated a digital invitation to show off his favorite characters. To complete the festivities, I then baked two cakes and decorated one as the Hall of Justice and the other as the Legion of Doom. After holding the party at a local comic book store, his smile lasted all weekend.
