The Marketing Communications team at Hu-Friedy, consisting of 15+ teammates including 4 designers, acts as an in-house agency for Hu-Friedy’s product development team. I hire, train and supervise freelance designers. In collaboration with Marketing Specialists, I develop and execute strategic product launch campaigns spanning print, advertising, social, email, sales materials, and convention experience. As Senior Designer, I lead the design production of Hu-Friedy’s two largest catalogs and review collateral from Hu-Friedy’s European offices. As brand expert, I provide art direction while working with outside agencies on projects out of scope of our department.

Apart of the Marketing department, I designed all internal and customer facing printed communications which included direct mail, center signage, marketing collateral and internal PowerPoint and Word templates. I collaborated with the Executive Director of Marketing in the development of national campaigns, partnerships, web direction and grassroots marketing and contributed creatively to the team’s overall marketing strategy and campaign planning. From print to production, I managed company-wide campaigns as well as individual design requests from tutoring centers and home office employees. As SCORE! Launched new tutoring programs, I partnered with the Operation and Education Managers in the conception, creation and distribution of educational and training materials.

While at Gammon Group, I assisted the Art Director and the Project Manager in print design concepts and production. Working directly with Clients, I made layout changes and copy revisions. Collecting files after approval, I coordinated with printer and mocked up files for the client.
