Katherine Guevara-Birmelin

In 2010 Kat received her BFA in Illustration and since then has been working as an independent artist, focusing mainly within the realms of mythology, science fiction, and fantasy, with a little bit of cheesecake for good measure.

Her work is done in traditional watercolor media, sometimes with a little bit of acrylic ink, or gouache. As a long time devotee of gaming, such elements tend to make an appearance in her art, and as such she has had the pleasure of working for some small press game companies, as well as comics.

Like all artists, she is always working on expanding her body of work. When she’s not at the work desk, or nose deep into a book she can likely be found charming her way out of a deal gone awry in a galaxy far, far away, or deciding which spear to pull out of the collection for her next epic adventure.
