I graduated with a First class degree in Industrial Design in 2006, as a creative problem solver, helping me develop a very sharp eye for detail, spacing and colour. I have excellent IT knowledge and I am pro-efficient with the creative Adobe suite.
I spent 3 years working as a Designer in Tokyo and then in Cambridge, before moving to London where I then gained rich experience in Administration. In working for a busy London based packaging consultancy, I dealt with front of house administration duties and computer packages, and acted as the first point of contact for all client and company related queries. I am self-motivated and enjoy being able to work on my own initiative. Whilst working in administration, I also enjoyed contributing to in-store research and Photoshop/Illustrator tasks when my team's deadlines were tight.
In my free time I design and sell illustrations across London, which has enabled me to continue my own creative design flair. Especially whilst I went on to explore a profession in teaching. My Illustration is something I continue to pursue in my free time and has taught me a lot about creating products and leaflets for print. I have created my own brand under which I market my Art.
Favouring again the busier and a more creative role of an office environment, I have decided against a career in teaching, although it has given me rich experience. I really enjoy working with people and as part of a team. I am organised, pro-active and seek a varied and challenging role where I can use my administrative and creative design skill-set in a creative environment.
