Justin Callaghan

Co-founded a student-run design firm created to serve individuals, small companies, and start-ups within the Rochester Institute of Technology, and the surrounding area. My responsibilities include industrial design, design research, sales, and client relations. I also contribute to branding, marketing web design efforts.

The Rochester institute of Technology offers 5-10 teams student teams the opportunity to work on their own company every year. There were only 50 teams that made it into the interview process and out of 50, my team was one of 10 that got to participate. I co-founded a team of three, and we worked to build a custom protein shake vending machines company. I was responsible for machine designs and user experience, customer research and acquisition, and putting together and presenting our investor pitch. The project is still in development now that we graduated from the program and is making steady progress towards a full production run in the future.
