I have developed effective teaching techniques, a classroom setting, strong lesson planning skills, and instructional methods, which have allowed me to educate all styles of learners and foster a fun and engaging learning environment that effectively teaches art appreciation, promotes creativity, and encourages growing independence.
Especially when I was student teacher, I found that one of my greatest strengths as an art educator is providing motivation with open-ended questions. In the beginning of every class, my students sit around the big table and have a motivation time to spark and visualize the lesson. The motivation time helped my students to understand the lesson better and have fun engaging in their art activities. I am an educator who always try to understand each of my student’s uniqueness and personal dispositions.
My love of art and design has enabled me explore several medias of art and several programs of design including all types of painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpting, graphic design, interior design and exhibition design. Therefore, I know well and am able to teach all types of art and design to students.
