Throughout my schooling, the importance of concept driven design was fundamental. It was not enough to simply make something look visually appealing. To be a truly successful design, the message had to be clear and relevant to the viewer. Design is a problem solving process. The essence of good design is its ability to convey the desired message in a way that is intellectually and visually stimulating.
