Costume Department. * Collaborate with award-winning designers and directors to develop or adjust color palettes and fabric choices to enhance character development * Use multiple fabric manipulation, dyeing and painting techniques to mimic distressing, age and wear of garments * Participate in training and mentoring workshops to educate other union members * Create custom designs for digital printing, screen printing and specs for knitted garments

Costume Department. * Trained and managed staff * Received regular training in safety and OSHA regulations * Built and refurbished costume accessories and head pieces including hats, tiaras, jewelry, wearable mascot heads, body armor, and wings * Dyeing techniques include acid, fiber reactive, RIT, Diazol Direct, marbleizing, and devore * Embellishment techniques include direct application with thickened dye, silk screening, batiking, gold leafing, potato dextrin and other resists
