As the principal of my own studio, I provide art direction, conceptual design, and production for marketing, publishing, and non-profit agencies. My recent clients have included Health Administration Press, Stellaforé, Apella Capital, The Joffrey Ballet, The Mall at Millenia, St. Martin’s, and Paprika Labs. I believe that great design is the result of collaboration—a synergy that’s always greater than the sum of the parts.

During my employment as a senior art director, I designed and art-directed many diverse publications as well as corporate identity and promotional materials. I created illustrations, charts and info-graphics. I conceived and orchestrated multiple photo shoots in both studio and on location. I booked models, food stylists, and location scouts. I researched historical and stock imagery. I contracted with outside freelancers as well as mentored junior designers. I provided creative leadership for junior staff. I was responsible for hiring, budgeting, and scheduling.

As the associate art director for this regional magazine publisher, I provided art direction and graphic design for two monthly magazines as well as a weekly business journal. I was responsible for contracting with freelance talent, directing photo shoots, and supervising production staff.
