First Industrial Design intern hired by Garmin. Strong interaction in interdepartmental critiques and sketch sessions. Given responsibilities to manage projects and interact with engineers, while contributing on several project teams during internship:
Outdoor/Fitness – developed prototypes and models
Aviation – field research, data analysis, and presentation
Marine – researched unmet market needs, developed concepts Client base and technology. Gave presentation of project and deliverables to ID Department.

North America Home Style Analysis Research Project Coordinated project time management and progress, as well as progress checks with In2Innovation project managers. Studied and photographed home styles (inside and out) in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa and
Arkansas by contacting area architects and personal connections. Data synthesis revealed connections between home styles, household income, location, design and basic demographics.

Graphic Designer for all screen printing, embroidery, and all print or online advertising campaigns. Service include client consultation, customer illustration, pre-press production and web development.

Processing orders to be shipped from publisher to individual clients
and retailers. Receiving and processing new shipments. As a student
employee of the University, was required to maintain a full-time
class schedule and work 20+ hours a week.

Hired as seasonal, store front help and eventually promoted as the youngest Route Leader in company history. Managed 10 storefront displays and 2 garden centers in Kansas City and surrounding areas. Supervised two Route Helpers daily and was the intermediary of all sales and inventory between 12 stores and Kaw Valley.
