My qualification as a Product Designer allows me to consider details, to follow trends and think visually in order to develop ideas, a skill which I translate into my work and personal life.
I am continually thinking about projects and looking for innovative solutions to problems in the design of everyday products. I also dabble with photography and have been developing my skills over the past few years.
As a product designer I;
Recognise patterns of human behaviour.
Discover the motivations and impulses that drive those patterns.
Create tools that improve or elevate the output of those behaviors.
I have good communication skills and am confident person with a wealth of life skills.
I am a team player and thrive in a team environment. Some examples of teams I have worked in are Duke of Edinburgh groups, the design team at Waterford Wedgwood, Royal Doulton and also Lifeguard teams.
I have been a scout leader for the past 5 years. This has given me the opportunity to work with people of all ages, developing skills in communication, financing, organisation and leadership. Every year I take part in set design and painting for scout gang shows which acts as a fundraiser for the organisation. I design or retouch the programme covers for the shows..
In my spare time I like to climb mountains and undertake hiking expeditions. I am passionate about travelling especially to different countries and have recently visited India, Australia, Singapore as well as taking scouts abroad to Norway.
