• Restoration Hardware (2013) – Designed and produced their latest New York art gallery RH Contemporary Art banner signage and logo lettering, opening Winter 2013. Created new barricade artwork for their newest gallery additions in Los Angeles and Connecticut during construction period. Produced and managed their internal 2013 Leadership Conference materials, including notebooks, pens, and signage to assure completion.
• Restoration Hardware (2008) – Designed and art directed core holiday product packaging. Projects included calendar design; candles, mugs, key chains, and paperweight packaging for astrology-themed product line. Worked directly with product director, merchants, copywriters, and vendors to complete projects from start to finish.
• Marin BMW Motorcycles – Created direct-mail pieces, advertisements, and signage for the well-known German brand motorcycle dealer. Worked closely with shop owner and sales director to execute design ideas for marketing needs.
• INCASE – Designed and produced packaging for iPod, iPhone, and MacBook accessories associated with Apple Computer brand products.
• bebe.com – Created point-of-purchase postcards and holiday brochures for bebe apparel. Both were selected for publication in Retail Ad World Publication Design Annual, June 2002.
• 24 Hour Fitness – Developed packaging layout for sports-related gadget, from concept to mechanical.
• Mill Valley family dentist – Created business identity including logo, business cards, letterhead, labels, and magnets.

Focused on trade shows, marketing collateral, licensed product packaging, environmental design, and production.
• Experience in environmental design and production for industry trade shows such as CES, CinemaCon, ShowEast, NAB, and Mobile World Congress; designed and produced booth graphics, wall panels, light boxes, vinyl displays, pedestals, and signage. Established close relationship with Czarnowski, a national trade show vendor.
• Designed and produced product brochures, overviews, and tech papers for sales and marketing needs.
• Main conceptual branding designer for Dolby’s Worldwide Sales and Marketing Conference; designed logo, agenda, awards, signage, badges, and packaging for gift items for the annual internal event.
• Worked closely with studio managers, copywriters, editors, project managers, print manager, and supervising production designers to assure completion of multiple large-scale projects distributed worldwide.

Discovery Communications
2006 - 2008 (2 years)
Designed and produced Discovery-branded product packaging, from standard guideline-driven product packages to newly developed Blu-ray/DVD designs, including complex dielines for boxes and blisters.
• Managed the packaging design process, including Planet Earth, American Chopper Collector’s Edition, Sunrise Earth, Man vs. Wild, and Meerkat Manor, in standard, high definition, and Blu-ray/DVD formats. Launched products into all national Discovery Channel stores.
• Designed premium-level toy packages, including Planetarium, Dragonfly, and Roboquad. Created new packaging systems and style guides for these ‘Discovery exclusive’ toys.
• Created new packaging identity for high tech products. Key contributor on new tech packaging. Worked closely with creative director to redesign and refresh 17 products into a new structural identity system.
• Designed a new structural system for clamshell packaging. Implemented the new look on 12 packages.
• Collaborated with creative director and project managers throughout the creative process from initial concept to product launch, and managed junior designer and freelancers on overflow design projects.

Packaging Designer, Hewlett-Packard Account
Brand Engine
2004 - 2006 (2 years)
Designed and produced toner and printer packages for Hewlett-Packard account. Produced over 200 toner packaging designs every quarter by updating existing mechanicals. Worked closely with creative director, project manager, and copywriter to develop new design concepts.
• Designed a new brand structure for redesign of ink packages in 2006, successfully introduced to all printer retail stores.
• Hired and managed multiple freelancers on HP projects. Trained freelancers in producing HP toner packaging mechanicals for consistency and accuracy.
• Worked side by side with agency to translate all toner instructions into 12 languages for Americas and European countries, and 10 languages for Asia Pacific. Supervised copywriters to organize global translations for all toner packages.

Supported sales and marketing teams and worked closely with creative and marketing directors to co-establish creative department. Led concept development and production of marketing projects. Managed a team of two graphic designers.
• Directed projects that included designing product packaging, brochures, invitations, annual reports, print and web advertisements, BroadVision.com, PowerPoint presentations, and materials for BroadVision User Conference.
• Designed and produced a series of color-coded CD-ROM packages as a tool to support sales and marketing team.
• Art directed and cast talents for BVision 2001 trade show campaign photo shoot, and used images in save-the-date postcard, show poster, and show guide. The trade show was a success, with 10,000 people in attendance.
• Developed interactive holiday card for sales and marketing team for company's vendors and partners.

Designed and developed identities for Oracle’s major events, including interactive design, advertisement, collateral materials and signage.
• Launched company’s interactive posters, for display throughout Oracle’s campuses worldwide. Established Oracle’s branding system for campaign collateral and interactive designs. Supervised junior designers and worked closely with art director.
• Produced and designed over 100 signs for Oracle OpenWorld trade show, as well as the OpenWorld logo, which is still being used today. Designed show menu and banners for OpenWorld VIP events.
• Designed and developed Oracle AppsWorld 2000 trade show campaign.
