HOW IT BEGAN

In the Spring of 2013 I began to pursue illustration and hand-lettering after leaving my full-time teaching position in order to stay home with my infant daughter. I created Joliemade as a way to offer unique paper goods. While I started with greeting cards and also sell prints, banners, and invitations, I have grown to specialize in other realms and primarily produce custom prints for all occasions, including weddings, birth announcements, nurseries, business cards, and more.

WHY IS JOLIEMADE UNIQUE?

In this day and age when everything has been digitized, I have relished in the opportunity to create prints and cards with my lettering and illustration - by hand. I have found that my customers deeply appreciate the warmth and personal nature of having something hand-lettered and painted for them instead of created in a computer program. I help clients add a special charm to their home, events, and celebrations by giving them something that was created with my own two hands. Of equal importance is the fact that I offer such specific customizations with hand-lettering; I allow clients to make pieces their own by creating pieces very personal in nature, whether that be wedding invitations, birth announcements, or a special gift.
