While I was attending Cuyahoga Community College my first experiences in woodworking happened as the result of finding a part time job at a local furniture refinishing shop. From that point my desires to expand upon my skills compelled me to search out more opportunities to learn the craft of fine woodworking. I met some people along the way who taught me various skills such as hand cut jointery as well as wood carving. As I continued to hone my craft what developed was an aesthetic that is a blending of traditional techniques and modern design inspired by my educational experiences in both interior and industrial design at the Cleveland Institute of Art.
