Editor, Creative Director
Milford Township, MI
May 2004 - Oct 2007 (3 years 5 months)
The Smalltown Lowdown was a suburban Detroit based entertainment magazine distributed monthly. In 2004 my brother and myself created this magazine to showcase our suburban metropolitan Detroit area and everything it had to offer from food, to drinks, to entertainment. As Editor and Creative Director, I was responsible for creating the company start up from logos, to page layouts, to advertising sales and design, to distribution, to printing, etc. It was a small company centered around three people so I was able to flex my talents in writing, photography, graphic design, logistics, and management. We decided to go strictly web-based in late 2007.
