I am a skilled & versatile Industrial Designer w/ 24 years of experience designing consumer products, specialized tools, lighting, signage, commercial equipment, and more. Comfortable in both the "fuzzy front end" and the product development trenches, I leverage a diverse set of skills and interests to imagine and execute big ideas and small details. I believe in the power of prototyping to reveal insights, and in the humility to consider and integrate new information.

My best work has come from positive collaborations with engineers and business leaders, but I am ready and willing to step out of my lane to pursue an idea as necessary. In recent years my skills with software, electronics, and physical prototyping have allowed me the freedom to explore functional solutions from a design perspective while maintaining legitimacy with my engineering colleagues.

I am continuously learning new skills and processes to help generate solutions, as rapidly improving software design tools like VR, AI, and generative design are accelerating the ideation/development process and increasing the number of possible iterations.
