Tightly integrated with the mechanical engineers, we developed a flexible "bend-and-stay" neckband that mimics spinal vertebrae. This feat of engineering allowed for two acoustic waveguides and a bundle of electrical wiring to run from one side to the other, and the use of slightly translucent silicone hinted at this functionality,
The "sightless" user interface uses generous physical affordances that can be felt and operated through the cover. These and a subtle hint of the acoustic ports are all that are exposed when covered. The covers were developed in close collaboration with Terrazign Inc.
