Teacher - digital photography and design

I teach Media Studies which incorporates digital photography and design to high school students as part of a specialized course of study called AICE. The students learn to use DSLR cameras and various lenses as well as edit their photographs using PhotoShop. Additionally, I teach students graphic design skills using InDesign and Illustrator.

As a brand new magazine for the South Florida area, I developed the style of the magazine which continues to evolve as the issues grow larger and hope to reach a broader audience. I designed all aspects of the magazine which included the design of content pages as well as various ads. My photography was also featured in issues of the magazine.

My projects included logos and business cards, catalogs, fliers, banners, product data sheets and various forms of packaging design. I worked with vendors in various stages of print production, including but not limited to packaging files for print, uploading files to FTP sites, and reviewing proofs and making any corrections as necessary.
