3D designed and engineered commercial fans and heaters for client buyers such as Walmart, Target, Home Depot, and Lowes.
Console heater design was bought by Lowes Home Improvement with 80,000 units sold. (Winter 2011 release)
Twist Desktop fan design was bought to Bed bath & Beyond with 60,000 units sold (Summer 2012 release)
High Velocity remote control and badge design bought by Home Depot with 100,000 units sold (Summer 2012 release)
Duties included designing a variety of Solidworks models. Rendering designs for board presentations. Engineering for 3D printed assemblies and testing. Overviewing final engineering for injection molded parts to be sent into production. Also responsible for modeling, hand crafting and painting fan and heater prototypes for final client presentations. Able to fully operate and maintain a SLS and SLA machine. Have a strong understanding of the manufacturing process, specifically injection molded products.

Remote Touch Panel Interface Designer Internship

Responsible for creating touch panel remote templates and menus for custom home multimedia installations. Duties included designing the visual interfaces/menus through 3D CAD programs and 2D programs (Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator) to guide the client through different options that they may need to operate their multimedia home (i.e. – lighting, music, TV, temperature, etc.). Push buttons, scroll wheels, and pop up displays were designed to create a custom interface for the user.
