Responsible for concepts, creating designs of over 350 SKUs yearly in Illustrator and Photoshop, technical drawings, sample comments and assembling prototypes for Guess Women’s, Gc and Guess Men’s Jewelry and Accessory Lines. Work with Product Development Managers and Vendors on comments during the sampling process. Develop products for Strategic Marketing Initiatives. Ensure timely development of collections, follow SKU counts and design groups to meet target costs. Research competitors, new materials, and trends. Travel Europe/Asia to trade shows such as Basel World Fair for design inspiration.

Collaborated with Design Director on concepts and designed seasonal collections for Guess Women’s, Gc and Guess Men’s Jewelry. Worked closely with Product Development team to ensure designs and quality standards were met. Maintained detail records by creating digital libraries of parts, logos and techniques. Attended international sales meetings in Europe/Asia seasonally to present collections and for design inspiration.

Worked with Senior Designers to develop designs and technical drawings for Givenchy and Nine West Jewelry Lines. Conceptualized new product, prepared design presentations that included illustrations, color and material direction.

Collaborated with Senior Designers and Design Directors in both handbag and jewelry categories to develop designs in a fast paced studio.

Responsibilities included: researching competitors and trends, sketching designs, creating renderings in Illustrator and Photoshop, preparing presentations, creating color ways, patterns, prints and spec sheets.

Designed a line of Men’s and Women’s Footwear and Soft Goods under the guidance of Paul Frank Industries. Prepared flat sketches, patterns, color ways and prototypes.

Sketched concepts for Women’s Footwear and Accessories. Presented detailed sketches, user scenarios, mood boards, trend, fabric, trim and color directions. One concept was approved for further development within the company.

Developed concepts and prototypes for wearable medical devices and bags. Worked with an interdisciplinary team of trend and color strategists, industrial designers, and engineers. Collaborated with Senior Designers to prepare flat sketches and technical packages. Generated mood boards and color stories based on trends.

Taught art using the Montessori Method to Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Created multiple lesson plans a week involving art history & design fundamentals. Managed the daily activities of an Assistant Teacher.
