APPAREL COLOR DESIGNER

With a deep global understanding of young female athlete's emotions and desires, designed and crafted seasonal color palettes and its strategies which also supports NIKE's seasonal creative vision. Collaborated on building NIKE Women's color design with other NIKE's women's categories; Running & Sportswear, for both footwear and for apparel. Then, presented to the design, marketing, merchandizing teams to broadcast the seasonal NIKE women's color design vision.
Was educated in new innovation in activewear materials and new NIKE manufacturing abilities, and created special color strategies and color blocking to highlight the new technologies. Participated in market research trips and keenly monitoring current trends in fashion, fitness, outdoor, youth culture which always resulted in emphasizing the importance of designing each color way that speaks to the consumers. Also, focused on strategizing 'head to toe' looks, which translated to the 'point of retail' merchandizing color strategies to magnify the whole seasonal collection by working closely with apparel designers, apparel developers, product marketing, and merchandizing.
Produced colors for seasonal prints to heighten the pinnacle expression of each seasonal color palette with a print and graphics designers.
Daily managed other color support such as color achievability, production assistance, each global color requests, overseas product creation center's inquiries to make sure each product comes alive with initial design intent for every geographical region NIKE serves.

CUSTOMIZATION COLOR & MATERIALS DESIGNER

Working with product line managers, developers, and digital creation team, created most trend capturing and consumer specific color, materials and graphics customization palettes for NIKEiD Global markets (U.S., Europe, Japan, & China) for online and for NIKEiD Retail studios around the world.
Continuously worked on footwear, apparel, & equipment design projects covering from every NIKE categories; Nike Sportswear, Global Football, running, American football, men’s & women’s training, basketball, action sport and Jordan.
Amplified inline seasonal stories by studying their color, materials, & graphics design strategies and elevate them with NIKEiD twists. Frequently attended market travels and to manufacturing facilities overseas to fully comprehend the consumers, to capture the most current trends and to produce most efficient and profitable line of manufacturing with the innovative ideas. Also, designed premium NIKEiD studio footwear collections every year for NIKEiD’s premium experience in the studios.
Formulated and implemented NIKEiD’s color management program for physical and for digital products. To sum up this experience was to become a customization Guru.

AUTOMOTIVE COLOR & MATERIALS DESIGNER

Researched the knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes including fabrics, patterns, textures, newly developed and fabricated materials for the automotive industry. Conducted trend forecasting along with brand strategizing which focuses on target users by participating in the market research. Studied sustainable and cost efficient design ideas with suppliers along with creating exciting new color & material strategy and innovating new automotive material processes for the future Ford vehicles.
Mustang 07: Upgraded and improved the feel and look of hard plastic parts with luxurious softer materials and delicate stitching details. Provided more package options with additional modern leather seat colors. Designed the new graphic pattern for the aluminum parts of Instrumental panel. Worked on new exterior paint color development.
Focus 08: Studied the possible buyers and presented the design visions to the design team to create more modern Focus interior. Researched the consumer market for inspiring colors, textures, graphics, patterns, fabric construction. Created renderings to show endless possibilities with one interior design, and built some interior prototypes using unexpected color palettes to challenge the traditional automotive color ways
