Jillian King is currently a rising sophomore graphic design student at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. During her freshman year at Texas A&M, she gained design experience while working with a student lead research team and a probiotic start up. Propelled by a passion for good storytelling through design, she hopes to continue gaining experience while in school through internships and freelance work. When she is not in the studio dreaming up her next project, she can be found outside savoring supermarket sushi, running, or playing ultimate frisbee with friends.

Art DirectorFeb 2017 - Present (7 years 11 months)I am currently working to develop a brand identity for a new probiotic startup. In order to communicate the unique significance of this product, I am working with a team to develop design solutions for increased consumer understanding and education.

Museum Exhibit Designer and Graphic DesignerAggie Research Leadership ProjectFeb 2017 - Jul 2017 (5 months)I collaborated with student researchers as part of the Aggie Research Leadership Program to design a cohesive museum exhibit at the Texas Seaport Museum based on research about the nutrition of 17th century English Sailors. The exhibit will also be a reflection on information learned in a directed studies class about perception and art and seek to address perceptual differences in viewers.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and creating museum content
- Researching effective museum exhibit design
- Designing project logo
- Assisting in management of social media
