The Ernest I. Nolan Award for Distinguished Achievement in the Humanities is given to a select number of graduating seniors and is testament to their outstanding performance in their major during their studies at Madonna University. The award, named after Dr. Nolan, former Provost and Vice President of Academic Administration and Professor of English, was created in 1995 to recognize the academic achievements of students in the College of Arts and Humanities.
