My entrance into the field of Graphic Art began during the period of time that Photoshop was just being developed. As a result of being in a new field of study, I had to teach myself much of what I know today. My patience along with years of teaching experience provide a meaningful learning experience for my students, especially those lacking technology training. My computer knowledge and graphic art skills came with little effort and seemed to be a natural path from the traditional art I had practiced earlier. These skills have served me well as both an instructor and an artist who could produce her own advertisements and printed materials as well as designing creative lessons for the classroom. I now continue my skills as a Freelance Graphic Artist.
