My role, as keeper of product marketing was multifold. One function was to ensure that the website catered to the needs and preferences of our target market (even when it maybe didn't make logical sense on paper), to best serve their research needs and drive conversion. Another function was to leverage my technical understanding to offer workarounds and solutions when we ran into sticky areas, i.e. in our pricing and dates section. We're trying to forward plan for integrations to Salesforce, so my location at the intersection of product information and external communications is pivotal to ensuring smooth workflow and improved customer experience.
