Publication: Sexual Violence Brochures
Along with the other updated identity materials, virtually all the publications at CAWS North Dakota need to be updated and redesigned. Most don't have any images and overall, the publications lack cohesiveness. The look developed merges the colors and clean feel of the new logo.
Serious efforts were made to use authentic imagery that was inclusive of many people, including people of color, the LGBTQ community, teens and youth, and men. Quality stock art subscriptions are worth their volume in gold, but keen research skills and an eye for continuity are necessary to make them really valuable.
The writing is primarily written by another staff member - I did supplemental writing and a fair amount of editing to align language with our new approach. We're making an effort to be conversational in tone.
These publications are distributed by local member programs as well as directly from the state coalition office. They will also be hosted online as part of our website redesign.
