Product Development & Branding: CORAL

The Community, Research, & Analytics Lab (CORAL) has been a kernel of an idea shortly after I started at NICHQ. There as an aging, homemade community platform built on Drupal that over time, became more and more costly to maintain as engagement with end users was dropping.

Our biggest breakthroughs in product development came with the NNPQC website (see related portfolio entry) and the development of their white-label PQC Portal.

During this project, I hired a Web & Product Manager, and together we iterated and built out an efficient and replicable product called CORAL. He's the lead on development and maintenance, and I led brand development, cost-plus budgeting, scoping work and contracts, and guiding our foundational go-to-market strategy.

Originally intended to replace an aging product and add value to NICHQ projects and proposals, we are seeing its value for users outside of NICHQ and are working on our first instance for an external customer.
