CAWS North Dakota partnered with the Montana State Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence to host a listening summit in Sidney, Mont. in July 2012. We wanted to create a space for direct service providers to dialogue about critical issues as well as share space with state leadership, government administrators and representatives, and other invested community partners. I created the invitations (print as well as digital versions) and worked with the media to get coverage. For our member newsletter, I wrote a summary of the summit for those not in attendance.
