Event Promo Materials - Speaker Tour

Concept and development of promotional materials for speaking tour of Dr. John Ikerd, consisting of a poster and direct mail postcard. The tour was titled Corporate Ag vs. Family Farms: A Battle for Hearts and Minds of the People. I based the design concept on old Liberty garden visuals during WWII, and it also reinforced the themes of the discussion series. The statewide tour supported an organizing campaign in North Dakota to uphold its ban on corporate-owned agriculture and factory farms. It was a huge success, with 75% of people in ALL counties voting to uphold the anti-corporate farming law.
