Dakota Resource Council was a key supporter of the grassroots efforts leading to the DAPL protests. Our staff and members were organizing with the same communities on other oil and gas issues.

I supported media coverage and connection of many members during the start of DAPL - our offices were right outside Memorial Bridge in Bismarck, where many protests took place.

This rally took place after police removal of protesters at the camp.
