In light of an approaching statewide vote in 2017, Dakota Resource Council traveled to many communities in South Dakota to learn more about the truth of corporate farming — from the local impact to what kind of neighbors these confined animal feeding operations (CAFOs) are, to the likely future of North Dakota should it start to allow corporate agriculture.
I worked with our Ag & Food organizer to contract with an outside production company, concept the video and underlying messaging. I helped plan the production schedule and coordinated with the production company on edits. I was responsible for the communication plan post-production.
