Jessica Emerson

I am currently a design student at the University of Maryland, University College. I have two really strong loves for stationery and comic books/animation, so I really enjoy creating patterns that can be used as part of either paper goods or digital material as well as unique character designs. I have also dabbled in logo design creation for friends and family.

Going forward, I hope to utilize tools like Adobe Illustrator and InDesign to create unique multimedia projects and surface patterns that can be used in a variety of ways. While I am fairly new to the concept of surface pattern design, I enjoy crafting and creating new patterns and repeats using both hand-drawn images and Illustrator brushes. I hope to keep learning and expanding my portfolio and skill set to include new and emerging digital illustration and design tools.
