TOG Watch

Knowing the time has become a secondary function in wearing a wrist watch. The primary role of the watch for most users is now to make a statement about fashion. But, with the emergence of smart watches users want a balance of classic style with an element of tech. In creating TOG I wanted a watch that had to be prompted with a classic button with tactile feedback, but that delivered a tech display.

The button delivers a secondary function in that it allows the user to have more of an interaction than a normal wristwatch. With the recent success of the fidget cube (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/antsylabs/fidget-cube-a-vinyl-desk-toy) it’s become apparent that people enjoy physical feedback from their products and the TOG watch is capitalizing on that.
