Challenging:
-There were countless technical challenges with this product. Here are a few challenges that I encountered and had to solve for:
How to make a programming language that a child could understand and write their own code for?
How do you communicate your programming language to the factory?
How do you mount the device to the door so the trigger is engaged. If it's too far away the trigger won’t engage, if it's too close the device will be smashed in between the door.
How do you design packaging that displays the device at retail?
How do you design icons for 17 different inputs and outputs that include LED’s and sound?
How do you design a mounting plate that holds the device in place, but will allow the device to be removed?
