Shop Badge Level I Projects
The Shop Badge Level I Certification states that the skills below are learned. These are skills that are not normally taught inside the classroom: Hammers, Fasteners and Hand Tools, Handheld Power Drills, Drill Presses, Bandsaws, Scroll Saws, Grinding and Sanding, Taps and Dies. Three smaller "mini" projects and a final project are completed and checked to satisfaction in order to receive the badge.
Throughout these 10 weeks, I learned how to utilize more tools more effectively for their different purposes in working with them during meeting sessions as well as during my own time outside the sessions by practicing the skills I learned during all the projects.
