Jeff Harwanko

Hello! I am an Industrial Design Manager with over 20 years of experience producing brand elevating product design in a fast based, design to market role. My work is seen and purchased by millions through major retailers including Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Sears, and Bed Bath and Beyond. In addition, people interface with my products daily, as they are installed in most major hotel chains.

I am currently the Senior Customer Experience Design Manager at Professional Plumbing Group (PPG). My role in conjunction with the Product Development Team is to be forward looking and develop unique, market changing programs, product, and packaging with channel appropriate aesthetics and functions. I currently hold over 85 U.S. patents.

Prior to joining Speakman & PPG, I worked for 8 years with Zenith Products Corporation in several different capacities. Most recently, as the Senior Industrial Designer with a strong focus on retail-based bath product, ranging from bath furniture and vanities, to shower storage products, shower-rods, and product displays.

In addition, a background in both product design and engineering has provided me with a unique skill set and knowledge in the marriage of “form and function” within products. I am currently using my talents to merge the Professional Plumbing Group and its sub-brands history of quality engineered product with current and forward-looking designs, as well as helping to reinforce brand identity through packaging development.

I was born into a military family in Fort Riley, KS and spent my youth living and traveling abroad in Europe. I obtained a BS in Industrial Design at Virginia Tech with a background in Architecture. I currently work out of the Professional Plumbing Group’s U.S. headquarters in Glen Mills, PA. My hobbies include automotive/motorcycle restoration and customization, as well as home remodeling and DIY projects.
