Jaume Boniquet

I am passionate about cars and design and graduated in Transportation Design from the Istituto Europeo di Design in Turin, Italy. I began my career in 2000 as a Junior Exterior Designer at Seat's Technical Center, where I contributed to the design of the second-generation Leon and Toledo models, among other projects.

After leaving Seat, I worked as a freelancer in industrial design across various fields, including custom cars, furniture, jewelry, watches, and retail for both companies and private clients.

In early 2007, I joined Grib Producciones as a Senior Industrial Designer, where I developed promotional and retail items for notable companies such as Bacardi, Martini, Bombay, Jägermeister, Eristoff, and Veuve Clicquot.

Later that year, I became part of Ànima Design, an industrial design agency located in the heart of Barcelona. Initially, I worked as a Senior Designer and became a Project Manager in 2009. Over the course of more than 15 years, I have been involved in and responsible for several projects within the studio, focusing on transportation, hardware tools, lighting, electronics, medical equipment, and household appliances. Some of these projects have received international recognition, including awards from Red Dot, iF Design, European Product Design Awards, ADI-FAD Delta, and SZDIF.

In addition to my work at Ànima, I have collaborated with national and international companies as an External Design Consultant since 2011. Since 2017, I have also lectured as a sketching professor at ESDesign (Escuela Superior de Diseño) in Barcelona. From 2019 to 2021, I worked with the Industrial Design department at the Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design in Russia, where I tutored several sponsored diploma projects.
