At the time of my May 2010 graduation, PSU had a policy in place which prevented students from receiving dual degrees at graduation. Having been made aware of this in early 2010, I approached the administration regarding a proposed change to the policy. On December 2, 2010, I learned the results of my efforts when I received the following message from Dr. Bruce Dallman, Dean of the PSU College of Technology: "The University Faculty Senate approved a dual degrees at graduation policy that will allow students in the future which find themselves in the situation that you found yourself in last year the ability to graduate with two degrees at the same graduation. [....] The real news is that you too will be able to apply for the second degree and be awarded that degree. The graduation date will be the semester that you apply."
