Jane Serrano

I graduated from the University of the Philippines with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2000. After taking the required apprenticeship, I took and passed the Architect Licensure Examination in 2002.

As an architect, I worked with fellow professionals on local residential, commercial, and other projects. Moving to Singapore in 2006, I worked as architectural coordinator in Shimizu Corporation and gained experience in actual construction, operations, and detailing, working on mixed-use developments, offices, and residential projects such as the Fusionopolis at One-North, Tokio Marine Centre, Nassim Park Residences, and Sky Habitat. Inspired by the detailing works in interior and furniture by great designers, I opened and registered a partnership, AJ Interior Design Studio in Singapore in 2014, specializing in 3D and interior design.

I hope to share my combined experiences in architectural design, interior design, and construction, and learn from designers, craftsmen, and fellow professionals as we work as a team to enrich, refine, or reinvent the everyday.
