I found the path of sewing and fashion design one day as I carefully and thoughtfully created a dress from sewing a tube of broadcloth fabric that reminded me of natural pressed paper with a variety of teal, blue, and violet specks. I constructed into it an intricate design of fisheye darts until the fit turned itself into a vision. I continued to create without a pattern a variety of dress designs and listed them online where to my astonishment were sold and treasured by the new owners!



When friends and family stumbled onto my new venture, I was surprised but excited to be encouraged to continue a with a previously unknown talent. With the help of a lot of self study, pattern making practice, and online resources, I opened up to the public for seamstress and custom work. Along the way, I discovered love for a new avenue of adventure with textile design.



Realizing that there is always something new to learn and with the support of my cherished husband who constantly reminds me "there is always a better way," I pursued a formal education and was delighted to learn industry terminology and procedures that made me drastically evolve my skills and efficiency. Along the way of earning my degree, I found a vast support group of instructors, mentors, and peers that I will be grateful to forever.



I've continued to offer my services for a variety of other projects for customers that engage me in what I love to do. I'm truly honored to have such a variety of clients start their own lines and launch in venues like Neiman Marcus. I've developed samples for patented technology football gloves, altered Christmas plush samples for launch meetings at Bed Bath & Beyond, and designed and created boxes full of tote bags for Dickies. I've even been blessed to be a part of a brides most special day by creating dresses for entire bridal parties both locally and overseas around the world. Back when my father taught me how to thread my cream vintage Bernina sewing machine as a child, I never thought it would fill me with the sense of accomplishment and love it does today.
