Originally from Scotland via Canada, I trained as an architect and am now a freelance artist. I'm inspired by people, gardens and the best of 21st-century civilisation. I love to draw light-filled, colourful cityscapes, trees, gardens, and anything involving relationships and the human figure.
My illustrated science history book THIS IS BIRMINGHAM (Waverley 2009) is in its second edition; I'm now researching a sister book about Glasgow, and illustrating a satirical graphic chapbook. I'm a member of the Society of Authors. I live in the heart of England, near the sari shops and neon.
My prints are in private collections in the UK, Europe, the USA and Australia.
