James Wood is one of the Gulf’s leading Creative Directors with over twenty years experience in the business of branding and integrated communications. After spending many years in London agencies, he is now based at TMH, Dubai’s most established independent branding agency. Leading a strategically driven multi-national creative department, James has created flagship brands and advertising for the likes of Zayed Sports City, The Daily Mail Group, Majid al Futtaim Leisure, Fairmont, Burj al Arab, Shangri-la, Anantara, ADCB, Dubai Culture, Avenue - Etihad Towers, Nakheel, Emaar, Barclays, NatWest, UniLever, and the BBC.
Notable achievements include an outstanding track record of recent new business wins as well as winning many international awards. Despite a busy work schedule, James makes time to sit on the American University of Dubai’s Visual Advisory Committee, mentoring graduate designers. He is an occasional contributor to Campaign ME.

With about 400 employees in the London office, my remit also included creative secondments to M&C Saatchi and DDB London (formerly BMP). Clients included Tropicana, Virgin and London Underground.
