An ongoing game of Dark Chess. Who knows what's hiding in those crossed out squares?
The starting state of a game of Dark Chess.
The server screen: here you get a log of connection-related actions, as well as what IP to give people who want to play. You can also force-quit the server by closing the window.
An overhead view of a complete running instance of Dark Chess. I wouldn't recommend playing like this, however.

Dark Chess

A re-imagined variant of chess that hides all spaces you cannot attack from your sight. No more checking - the one and only goal of this game is to capture your opponent's king before yours is taken.

This project was written exclusively in Java, and features multiplayer with a simplistic server creation procedure, colorized movement assistance, and support of special rules like castling and en passant.
