Not every program created has to try to save the world. Cat Slideshow is a simple application: it delivers to you an endless stream of relaxing cat pictures.
With images provided by TheCatAPI.com, you can allow the pictures to automatically transition, scroll through them yourself, or pause it. Cat Slideshow also supports image saving for when you find that perfect cat.
This project was written exclusively in Java, with XML parsing to communicate with an Web API. Images were provided by TheCatAPI.com. Supports smooth window resizing that maintains aspect ratio.
