For Advanced Industrial design during third year the brief was design something to aid people with long term health conditions or a disability to improve their quality of life. To accomplish this I thought that I would design a handy grabber which would appeal to those with various different conditions or physical limitations. One of these beneficial features is an easy squeeze to open feature. This means that the grips are constantly closed due to a strong spring which can be easily opened by the user and will help those who have issue with grabbing objects or cannot reach a top shelf for a heavy item.
