I have always been interested in creating things and understanding how they work; from playing with air fix when I was young, to studying product design and graphic communication at school. When it came to applying for University, I wanted to find something that would combine my passion for creating new things with the technical side of how they work, and studying Product Design Engineering has provided that balance between the two. The skills I have learnt in PDE have enhanced my ability to both design and build products. I have really enjoyed the variety of projects that have been thrown up over my time on the course, ranging from cash machines to air travel of the future. After I graduate I hope to continue down this vein, working on a vast array of different, hands-on projects in either the consultancy or startup world.
