Harald Hynell

Harald is Bosign’s founding designer. His passion for form, construction, material, and innovative product solutions are key to the Bosign’s design philosophy. He finds his inspiration in the physical and emotional aspects of design; how a product feels in your hands or still impacts you after several years’ use are key to his sculptural and holistic approach. He has designed several groundbreaking products for Bosign, including the Surfpillow and the Laptray. His fascination with product design is infectious and he tackles design with humility. Nothing pleases him more than walking into a store and picking up a product that provides a brilliantly simple solution, is elegantly designed and constructed to last.

Harald was raised and educated in Sweden, Germany and the United States. His professional experience covers several countries, fields and disciplines. In addition to product design, he has worked within mechanical engineering, communication, branding and marketing at international corporations such as Ericsson and Hewlett-Packard.
