I am a Graphics Designer/Specialist and Layout Artist, with 10 years experience, both freelance and previously employed. I was connected in a service provider company as a Team Leader, Graphics Designer and Layout Artist (for books and magazines). We particularly working for a publishing companies worldwide which focus specifically in delivering electronic file of ready-to-print Book Cover Layouts as well as the pages, graphic images and figures of book contents which is based on the client specifications. Some of these companies are Elsevier, Springer and Wiley-Blackwell. In all processes, we of course observe specific client standards. The following are the summary of my job processes:



IMAGE PROCESSING

1. Image Manipulation/Processing (from client sent figures, we process the images according to client specifications)

2. Quality Assurance and Output Quality Control (to ensure the quality of all deliverable)



COVERS PROCESSING / PRE-PRESS

1. Layout (cover layout as per clients' specifications usually in print and in web)

2. Quality Assurance and Output Quality Control (to ensure the quality and the completeness of data and printer requirements)



On the other hand, as a freelancer, i accept jobs of different graphic designing. The following are those jobs i have completed and currently working with:

I am very proficient in Adobe Creative Suites such as the following:



1. Adobe Photoshop

-In graphics and photo editing, there is no impossible in photoshop together with comprehensive skills and knowledge of it which i believe i both have.



2. Adobe Illustrator

-with this application, which i say i specialized with, i can create creative figures and vector images. This is the application i use in making company logos, vector faces from raster images, and most of all, sketched images traced in Illustrator.



3. Adobe InDesign

-I am currently using this application in making layouts of books and magazines. Like this yearbook i am currently working on, together with the power of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, i am pretty confident i can offer you designs beyond expectations.



4. Adobe Acrobat Pro Enfocus

-i also use this application for pre-flighting and Quality Checking. This is useful for pre-press and publishing processes.
